A cool refreshing drink....a dairy product essentially.One glassfull is enough for a person with low appetite.i recommend all the outsiders to sure give it a try and do not leave indore without it.
Also another variety is neembu shikanji....essentially made up of water and lemon juice....and contains spices to add flavours.Price :- Rs 5-40 a glass

Nice job man..havent visited indore much, yet this blog creates a kind of curiosity to visit the mentioned places..
Have gone to Gurukripa as a student...g00d food and at very pocket friendly prices...

i agree...with pathik make it a point to mention the sunder swasth and thikau.......rolls..
also madhuram sweets is no wher on the list....
mamu deflecting from the sweets/....give due credit to the namkeen and sweets section also along with the inevitable chaat.
kamal ke namkeens are missin too-- and the bana hua samosas available at the sanchi stalls specially the one in fron tof khel prashal!!

Thnx for reminding me....Madhuram sweets and of course Calcutta Roll centre.I do agree with Pathik that it has an important place in our lives.Good to hear Baps still remembers calcutta roll.May CALCUTTA ROLL live forever....Yeah surely i had left out sweets for a while for the list was exhaustive...but will launch soon the whole list and places.Wait for the next update guys.I am here to stay......

Hello All,
I really like Madhuram's Shikanji. I am trying to make it at home, not able to figure out the essence other then cardamom. "The flavor which gives it fruitiness, if i am not wrong that might be kishmish. Please do conform once. Because being in Boston I am really missing that authentic flavor of Indore.
