As a person from mumbai....vada pav has to be on the list for sure.But dear all...believe me the below mentioned places serve one of the best vada pavs and ....when it comes to vada pav....mumbai is still the best.

Types:- What type?....vada pav is vada pav....it is till the same and good.

Cost :- Rs 4-6

Places :- 1.) Kunj Vihar :- outside Thane railway station.The best amongst all.
2.)Khidki Vada :- Kalyan , quiet famous in the town. Name the place and autos take u there.
2.) Jumbo King :- most famous chain of vada pav outlets.

Veg Rolls

On popular demand ...i presenta....veg rolls to u. The treasured hangout of schoolboys,collegers and all indoris...( my gang still visits this place).The place is famous for non veg rolls too( i havent tasted any of those...blame it on my vegetarian habits)but..my friends will assure u...chicken roll and egg rolls simply rock.I guarantee great taste treat with the veg rolls.Also one point to note is the way they wrap it.Served with tomato and chilly sauce....Feels Heaven!!

Variety:-
1.) Veg Roll :- Paratha rolled with the greatest vegetarian fillers in it.Price :- Rs. 10
2.)Paneer Roll :- The filler contains paneer....gimme more!!Price:- Rs 12

Non-Veg :-
3.)Egg Roll:- Mughlai paratha with omlette + the fillers. Price :- I guess Rs :- 15
4.)Chicken Roll:- The one above + fillers contain spicy chicken as ingredient .Price :- Rs.20

Place :- None other than Calcutta Roll Centre and Bengal Roll Centre , in front of Greater Kailash Hospital, New Palasia.

Other places :-
5.) Veg Kathi Roll :- popular item on all bakery lists , but greatest ones were tested by me at Amer Palace , Bhopal and Birdy's,mumbai.

Note :- Please do not undermine the Great rolls by comparing them with Paneer kathi rolls popularly available.I am sure u will know the difference once u taste them separately.

Sabudane ki khichdi/Wada

Believe me it is indeed an item to grab anytime here.All over Indore u will find the fariyali khichdi hawkers each carrying his own unique style of adding the magical taste to the otherwise regarded a fast itemIt can be made spicy and adding some mix of potato chips to the dish makes it yummy!!

Variety:-
1.)Fariyali Sabudane ki khichdi :- An otherwise fast item made famous by indori preparations .Price :-Rs 5(indore) to Rs 15(mumbai)
2.)Sabudana wada :- Basic ingredient still Sabudana but a fried item this time usually served with spicy hari chutney .Price :-Rs. 5 (indore)-15(mumbai)

Places:- At indore, of course "Sawariya Seth " name on the board is my guarantee of a tasty khichdi. Other than famous places are still Sarafa,Chappan Dukan,Uttam Bhog,etc.In mumbai though the same preparation is not spicy but u will find one of the best khichdi and sabudana wadas at Dadar (Municipal Corp Canteen , Mama Kane) and Thane ( Kunj Vihar)
