Pohe

Can be truely called as synonym of indore.In Maharashtra it is regarded as breakfast item but pohe is one menu that is on the cards for 24 hrs at indore.The per day intake of pohe in indore ranges to hundreds of tonnes.Tate is different everywhere and at some plces decorating pohe takes significance :- for instance with grapes , dry fruits,anaar. Some must ingredients are :- Sev,corriander,onion and spicy powder (aka jeeravan or masala). price :- Rs 3-6

Variety :-
1.) Shahi Pohe :- simple pohe with all the decorations as stated above.Rs 3-4
2.) Usal Pohe :- Pour some gravy with sprouted seeds known as usal( indeed hot) on pohe.Usal being spicy dish....indeed makes the combi spicy offer.Rs:-6-8
3.) pohe jalebi :- favourite combi of indore . u get pohe clubbed with sweet jalebi.Rs 5-6
4.) Dadpe pohe :- Another variety....now becoming extinct.

1.) Anantanand :- at jail road . famous for usal pohe.
2.) Rajbada :- houses sundar,Shree Shiv,Galeda ,sarafa . A shop adjoining anna paan shop is quiet famous with creatures of night( like myself) and a common hangout for collegers.
3.) Chappan Dukan :- famous for both pohe and usal pohe.
